The hotel Villa Moderna exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional. Despite the hotel showing its age, the conditions were good and everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff, particularly Mr. Luigi and his team, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. They truly made us feel at home. Additionally, the food at the hotel was delicious. We highly recommend trying the gnocchetti with shrimp, tomato, and rocket, as well as the famous penne cacio e pepe.

All was more than satisfactory; there's nothing I would change.

We stayed at a budget hotel in Salsomaggiore Terme. the reception area was neat and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for dining and spas. the room had twin beds, which were a bit hard, but everything was clean. the bathroom could use updating, but it was not a major issue. the hotel offered a decent breakfast with a variety of options, including bread, croissants, jam, and salume and cheese. the location was convenient, with the town center and the Berzieri Terme spa within a short walk.

The furnishings in the hotel were rather dated, with vinyl flooring.
